Another retiring Yarn
In case you haven't heard, Red Stag Fiber will be retiring from selling yarn. We do not have plans to add any more of their yarn to our inventory due to this announcement, but if you have any special requests, please let us know and we will see what we can do.
Shamrock Make & Take on PI Day!
Bring your crochet hook, or borrow one, and use yarn provided by the shop, to join Merry and Amy to make (or learn to make) a crocheted shamrock in time for St. Patrick's day!
When: Saturday March 14, 10:00-12:00
Oh - and since it's also Pi Day - have a piece of pie while you visit (while supplies last).

Midwest Crochet Retreat
Susan, Merry, and Amy will be helping at the Midwest Crochet Retreat - March 28 & 29! Amy will be staffing the SOS table, while Susan and Merry will be hosting a "Wooly Bully" booth to offer some of our awesome Wooly Bully products.

Christmas Is A-Coming Series: Project One
Get a jump on the holidays this year. Join Robin (and others) monthly, March through November, to knit small thoughtful projects suitable for gifting. Discover new patterns while sharing your favorites.
Future projects include: a spa set/cloths, a wine bottle topper, small felted bowls, a headband, little pumpkins, etc.
Our first project will be a pair of Comfy Gusset Mittens by Karen Hoyle. We will be knitting the fingerless version.
Date/Time: Sunday, March 29 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Please register for this class.
Please print the pattern (free on Ravelry) ravelry.com/patterns/library/comfy-gusset-mittens and bring it to class.
Materials: 1 skein of worsted weight yarn, a 32” size 6 needle. May also use DPNs or Flexiflips. (Please use yarn from our shop)
Must be comfortable working in the round.
Cost: $25.00 (paid to Robin)
Little Gemstones Shawl
Come join Merry as she teaches the Little Gemstones Shawl! You can preorder the kit that Merry used from McMullin Fibers. Orders must be placed by March 13th.
The class will take place in April.
This shawl is knit in one piece from the bottom up; the gems are knit as you go using W&T or German short rows without needing to pick up stitches or any seaming.
Have you ever knit Short Rows? No need to fear...you can learn German Short Rows or Wrap & Turn! There are no purl stitches in this shawl.

Materials: fingering weight yarn and a US size 3 with a 32 or 40 inch cable. (Please use yarn from our shop.)

"Flora Adora Hat" Learn-Along with Lisa
This LAL hat features a number of techniques that make this a great project for adventurous, advanced beginners who want to tackle an intermediate project: corrugated rib, Latvian braid, stranded color work, and embroidery.
Blue sky Fibers has prepared a series of videos which we will use to learn these techniques together!
When: Tuesdays February 17 and running through March 24, 2:00-3:30PM.
Pattern - will be provided.
Needles - US 6 & 7
Yarn - Blue Sky Fiber mini Woolstok bundle and a coordinating skein of Woolstok (Please use yarn from our shop.)
